The key to the success of our special events is the individual and corporate sponsors who generously donate their time and resources to us. It is their generosity that makes a difference to the lives of foster children and foster parents in British Columbia every year. Sponsorships come in many forms ranging from Cash and Gift In-Kind Sponsorship, Auction Item Donations and Volunteering. JOIN US FOR TAYLOR'S CROSSING'S GOLF TOURNAMENT
Sat. October 2, 2010 at Ambleside Par 3 Golf Course!
Grab your golf clubs and come play in our tournament, then
relax in our beer garden, grab a burger and check out the
silent auction. Volunteers are needed for this great cause!

ATTENTION BOOK WORMS! IT'S OUR USED BOOK SALE!
SOS BC will be selling books on Sunday Sept 12, 2010
We will be at the Steveston Farmers and Artisan's Market
selling gently used books at great prices to raise funds to
provide support and loving care to BC's foster children.

PRESENTING THE INAUGURAL WHITE ROCK STILETTO RUN
SOS BC is looking for volunteers for Saturday July 31!
The Run will be a fabulous night to remember as competitors
dash down Marine drive in their fiercest heels. SOS BC has
partnered with Try events for the run and we need your help!

THE SECOND ANNUAL SOS CHILDREN'S VILLAGE RUN
Took place May 30 at the Richmond Olympic Oval Plaza!
Admission was free & we encouraged sponsorship pledges
in support of SOS BC. It was a great success and we invite

SOS BC AT THE GERMAN FAN FEST DURING THE OLYMPICS
Thank you for joining us for a once in a lifetime event!
We showcased our organization to over 40,000 visitors who
came to the Fan Fest from Feb 12th to 28th. A live auction
took place on the 28th for two fabulous trips to Germany.

PARADE OF TREES AT GROUSE MOUNTAIN: Dec 3-24,2009
Sponsors Bought Christmas Trees For a Great Cause!
Now in its 16th year, it had bright lights, viewings by thousands
of guests daily, laughter, Santa's workshop, skating, sleigh
rides, reindeer, fine dining & a scavenger hunt to explore it all.

SKATE-A-THON: A FUN & FESTIVE EVENT ON DEC 12,2009
From 12pm to 5pm on the top of Grouse Mountain
Participants collected pledges beforehand and were rewarded
with free skating — rentals and Skyride included! Karen
Magnussen was also the Honorary Chair at this event.

June 18,2009 at Eaglequest Coyote Creek Golf Course!
It was an experience that simply could not be missed - one
night of exquisite local & international wines, and gourmet
food from local restaurants that tantalized taste buds.
